Of course, let's learn how to vector in Illustrator together :). I just installed Illustrator CS2, but I think it's not that different from your Illustrator 10, so if I find any good tutorials or anything, I'll let you know ;).

Illustrator is pretty confusing indeed, in fact, I don't understand it either... But I've seen the difference between a vector in Photoshop and a vector in Illustrator and that's really amazing. There are of course a few tricks you could use in Photoshop to solve the round points, etc. If you grab the right eraser, you could 'shave' a bit off the lines, making them sharper. The only problem is that the lines might get rugged a little bit more. Therefore you can also use the polygonal lasso tool to 'cut off' some parts.

It's a lot of work though, so I can recommend just learning how to use Illustrator by reading a lot of tutorials and of course just try things. I'll be re-installing Illustrator and start learning too ;). Good luck!

Replying to the question you asked about which program I used to vector "barcode existence", I used Illustrator to vector Rei and added some layer effects using Paintshop Pro to improve the shading.

I don't understand what you meant. Actually, THERE IS BLOOD on the knife, please look better. If you say that the background is too busy, I can agree with you. In the original wall there aren't all that object but I decided to add them after. Without them the wall looks a bit too empty ;) Anyway, thanks for your comment.
